Coaching
I like to support, celebrate and contribute. I like to support people to be successful, to celebrate the steps forward, and to contribute my knowledge and expertise to make the world a better place. I believe in the power of creative acts to enrich life.
I am an expert in Creative Problem Solving (CPS), a life skill that we all need to thrive. CPS is a process that takes you from Dream to Action. It is a proven method that takes you through the steps necessary to make goals happen. I am a Certified Kaizen Muse Coach, and can help you make your creative visions or desires happen.
I enjoy working with everyday people who are doing their best to reach their potential. I also enjoy working with creative professionals, such as artists, writers, and musicians who need support in the demanding field of deliberate creativity. There are a variety of tools and techniques that can be used to smooth out the process from taking an idea and turning it into a result.
Lately I am getting requests on meditation coaching. I have taken and passed a course to be a Meditation Trainer, and regularly meditate. People are discovering this ancient art in our modern world. They embrace it for the many benefits it brings: calm, creativity, insight, confidence, and emotional intelligence.

Consulting
As a creativity expert I am called in by organizations to help solve problems or do creativity training. More and more in the business world, creativity and innovation is being asked of employees. Many do not have this 21st century skill. I can facilitate Creative Problem Solving sessions, or do workshops on creativity training.
I have done creativity workshops at University of Toronto and Mohawk College. I helped many people find solutions. I have worked with business owners at the McMaster Innovation Center's Incubator program, and with small businesses at the Welcome Inn.

Dare is one of the most innovative, forward thinking, and enthusiastic students I've had in the Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching Curriculum. She's a wonderful example of my modern day Muse, Audacity. Dare dares to exceed expectations and succeeds.~ Jill Badonsky
Training
Learning a new skill takes time and effort, and it helps to have support, someone to guide you. As a trainer I use a variety of methods to teach people. I work hard to create training that is engaging and informative.
Training today takes place in a classroom, online in webinars and videos. I have done both face-to-face training and elearning, and both have something to offer.

When I started my sessions in creativity coaching the simple goal was to complete an art concept that had been floating around in my thoughts for a couple of years. As we progressed through our highly enjoyable sessions via phone it started to become something much greater than completing an art project. It soon became apparent that I was receiving lessons that could affect a broader scope of my life.
The sessions were 100 percent plus positive. There was no negative energy anywhere in sight and if some did start to seep through Dare found some way to phrase what was being discussed so that it had a positive spin to it. Dare always encouraged small steps forward, never criticized a slip to the side or backwards and always found the right words to throw out a life line to gently tug us along the lines of moving forward.
I found myself embracing the concept of taking tiny steps toward a goal and started employing that concept both in my place of work and in my personal life. It helps immensely when tasks build up and panic of how to complete them in time sets in. I can now mind sculpt to organize myself thus relieving the anxiety of non completion and opening the pathways to finishing up what needs to be done.
Overall the course taught me that it is okay not to reach your goal in one big effort as it can be achieved over time by taking small steps that ultimately may be more successful in having a lasting effect. The course was stimulating, uplifting, empowering.

The coaching, consisted of fun, relaxed sessions. We discussed how my writing and creativity were progressing, and what ideas might help me along. My stories tend to be predictable and I want to shake them up. So Ambassador Dare and I talked about what might or might not work. Her suggestions were excellent, and she never seemed to run out of ideas.
I learned a great deal – small steps, the importance of playfulness, lists, small steps, mind sculpting, not taking myself too seriously (and did I mention small steps). The sessions ended with guided meditation and a small writing assignment. The writing I did after the meditations seemed distinctly different (freer, more “flow-y”) from much of my other writing. Another indication of the power of the mind. We covered a lot of ground in just four sessions. Thanks so much!
